JIPT is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering various aspects of animal husbandry science. Published since 2012 by the Department of Animal Husbandry, University of Lampung, in collaboration with the Indonesian Society of Animal Science.

Focus and Scope

JIPT receives research articles covering various aspects of animal husbandry science, including:

  • Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology
  • Animal Breeding and Genetics
  • Animal Products
  • Livestock Socio-Economic and Policies
Promotion

Peer Review Process

Research articles are peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers using a double-blind process. Peer review serves as a filter for content quality and helps maintain scientific integrity by excluding invalid or low-quality articles.

Open Access & Frequency

JIPT provides immediate open access to support a greater global exchange of knowledge. The journal is published three times a year in March, July, and November.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarized content. JIPT uses Turnitin to check the authenticity of every article. Authors are strongly advised to use plagiarism detection software before submission.

Journal History

Accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology based on Letter No. 177/E/KPT/2024, valid from Volume 11(2) July 2023 until 16(1) March 2028.
