The study site was determined purposively due to its relevance to the research objectives. Data collection was conducted from May to June 2025. The research sample consisted of 76 visitors of Bukit Bawang Bakung tourism area, selected by using a survey-based data collection method. To analize the data, this research employed multiple linear regression to examine the influence of various explanatory variables on visit frequency, alongside the Travel Cost Method to quantify the economic value of the tourism site. The empirical results revealed that travel expenses, travel distance, and visitor income significantly affecedt the number of tourist visits to Bukit Bawang Bakung. In addition, by integrating the estimated consumer surplus per visit with annual visitation levels, the total economic value of Bukit Bawang Bakung Tourism was estimated to reach IDR 37,241,485,397.84 per year, highlighting the substantial economic contribution of this destination.

Keywords: economic valuation, tourist visit frequency, travel cost method
Zuliardo Ktut Murniati Firdasari Firdasari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science 2026-06-22 2026-06-22 14 1 42 49 10.23960/jiia.v14i1.12285 ANALISIS EKSTERNALITAS USAHA PETERNAKAN AYAM RAS PETELUR DI DESA GADINGREJO UTARA KECAMATAN GADINGREJO KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU https://jurnal.fp.unila.ac.id/index.php/JIA/article/view/11800
This study aimed to analyze the income generated from egg-laying hen farming business that included and excluded the externalities and analysed its externalities aspects. A quantitative descriptive approach utilized in this research to analyzed secondary time series data from 2014 to 2023 that obtained from reliable sources included FAO, BPS, and Indonesian Central Bank (BI). The data were calculated by using Smart-PLS software, with variables included agriculture export volume, agriculture productivity, and various fertilizer import indicators. The analysis employed Pearson correlation and PLS-SEM, along with evaluations of both the measurement and structural models. The findings indicated that fertilizer imports has no significant impact both direct or indirect on agriculture productivity or agriculture exports. Conversely, agriculture productivity was found to significantly influenced agriculture export volumes. Based on these findings, this study recommended that government policies should be focused on enhancing agriculture productivity through initiatives that support the equitable and timely distribution of subsidized fertilizers, as well as stabilizing the price of agriculture product. The data analysis method used was financial feasibility analysis (NPV, IRR, Net B/C, Gross B/C, and Payback Period). Risk analysis used the Coefficient of Variation (CV). The results showed that smallholder rubber plantations were financially feasible with an NPV of IDR 96,735,632, an IRR of 12.15 percent, a Gross B/C of 1.36, a Net B/C of 1.96, and a Payback Period of 15.33 years. Sensitivity scenario calculations showed that the development of smallholder rubber plantations in Gunung Pelindung Subdistrict remained feasible with a percentage increase in production costs of up to 39 percent, a decreased in rubber production of up to 46 percent, and a decreased in the selling price of rubber of up to 51 percent. The price risk was classified as low (CV = 0.40), while the production risk was classified as moderate (CV = 0.50).
