Faktor – Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pertumbuhan Usaha Peternakan Sapi Potong di Kabupaten Kediri

Abstract

The growth of beef cattle farming business plays an important role in strengthening food security and the rural economy. Several factors affecting this growth need to be analyzed to support livestock sector development policies. This study aims to analyze the influence of regional budget allocation, livestock population, and productivity on the growth of beef cattle farming business in Kediri Regency. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with time series data, equipped with classical assumption tests as well as partial and simultaneous tests. The results showed that the three independent variables had a simultaneous significant effect on business growth, with a determination coefficient value (R²) of 31.8%. Partially, livestock productivity has the most dominant influence, followed by population and regional budgets. The conclusion of this study shows that improving technical efficiency and fiscal policy support have a strategic role in driving the growth of livestock businesses. The implications of this study lead to the need for synergy between increasing productivity, strengthening the population, and optimizing the budget in the context of sustainable beef cattle farming development
