Pengaruh Substitusi Tepung Ikan Dengan Tepung Ikan Rucah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Nila Gesit (Oreochromis niloticus)
Abstract
Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) adalah ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dan banyak dibudidayakan, namun pembudidaya sering mengalami kendala harga pakan yang tinggi karena bahan baku seperti tepung ikan masih diimpor. Untuk mengatasinya dicari alternatif bahan baku lokal yang dapat menggantikan tepung ikan seperti tepung ikan rucah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh substitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung ikan rucah pada pakan dengan proporsi yang berbeda dan untuk mengetahui proporsi tepung ikan rucah yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan ikan nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan A (pelet komersil/kontrol), B (tepung ikan 100%), C (tepung ikan rucah 25% + tepung ikan 75%), D (tepung ikan rucah 50% + tepung ikan 50%), E (tepung ikan rucah 75% + tepung ikan 25%), F (tepung ikan rucah 100%). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Parameter yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan, Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR), dan Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER). Semua parameter yang diamati menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung ikan rucah dalam pakan buatan pada perlakuan E memberikan pengaruh nyata dibandingkan perlakuan A, B, C, D, dan F dengan hasil nilai pertumbuhan dan PER tinggi, sedangkan nilai FCR rendah.
