Pengaruh Salinitas dan Nitrogen Terhadap Kandungan Protein Total Nannochloropsis sp.
Abstract
Nannochloropsis sp. merupakan pakan alami yang memiliki protein yang cukup tinggi. Perubahan salinitas dan kurangnya jumlah nitrogen selama kultur dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan Nannochloropsis sp. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan salinitas dan nitrogen selama kultur terhadap kandungan protein total Nannochloropsis sp. Penelitian dilakukan pada Oktober-November 2012 di Laboratorium Fitoplankton BBPBL Lampung. Perlakuan selama penelitian adalah kultur Nannochlorpsis sp. dengan salinitas 30-34 ppt dan NaNO3 100 gram/L (A); salinitas 30-34 ppt dan NaNO3 50 gram (B); salinitas 35-38 ppt dan NaNO3 100 gram/L (C); dan salinitas 35-38 ppt dan NaNO3 50 gram/L (D) dengan kepadatan awal 11 x 106 sel/ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan dengan salinitas 35-38 ppt dan NaNO3 100 gram/L menghasilkan kandungan protein total tertinggi. Kandungan protein total meningkat dengan bertambahnya jumlah Nannochloropsis sp.
