Abstract
This study aims to assess the level of organic fertilizer adoption among corn farmers and examine the influence of farmers' perceptions on the adoption of organic fertilizer in Paterongan Village. A quantitative research design with a survey approach was employed, and respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Primary data were collected from 58 corn farmers through structured questionnaires and analyzed using quantitative descriptive and ordinal logistic regression. The results showed that the level of adoption was low at the awareness stage, moderate at interest and trial stages, and high at the evaluation and adoption stages. Regarding farmers’ perceptions, the relative advantage of organic fertilizer was perceived as very good, while compatibility, complexity, and observability were rated as good. In contrast, trialability received the lowest rating and was categorized as poor, indicating that farmers had limited opportunities to test organic fertilizer before making adoption decisions. Based on the ordinal logistic regression analysis, the variable that significantly influenced adoption was farmer perception, while the variable of age, education, land area, and experience did not show a significant influence.
