Mandatory Author Declaration

The Mandatory Author Declaration is an essential part of the manuscript submission process. It ensures that all authors adhere to the ethical and procedural standards required by Repong Damar: Jurnal Pengabdian Kehutanan dan Lingkungan (RDJ).
This declaration covers several key areas to maintain integrity and transparency in the publication process.

1. Originality and Prior Submissions

  • Authors must declare that the manuscript is an original piece of work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Any related prior publications must be disclosed, and copies should be provided if applicable.

2. Conflicts of Interest and Financial Support

  • Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial, personal, or professional) that may influence the research.

  • All sources of financial support or sponsorship must be acknowledged.

  • If no conflicts or financial support exist, authors should include this statement:

    “The authors confirm that there are no known conflicts of interest associated with this publication and there has been no significant financial support for this work that could have influenced its outcome.”

3. Authorship and Order of Authors

  • All named authors must confirm that they have read and approved the manuscript.

  • The order of authors must be agreed upon by all contributors and is final.

  • Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors in the accepted manuscript must be submitted by the Corresponding Author to the Journal Manager and include:

    • The reason for the addition, removal, or rearrangement.

    • Written confirmation from all authors agreeing to the change (including the author being added or removed).

  • Publication will be suspended until authorship issues are resolved.

  • After online publication, changes can only be made through a corrigendum.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Authors must ensure that all intellectual property rights are respected.

  • Necessary permissions must be obtained, and there should be no barriers to publication related to intellectual property.

5. Ethical Approval

  • For research involving human subjects or animals, authors must confirm that ethical approval has been obtained from relevant institutions or committees.

  • If not applicable, this section may be omitted.

6. Consent for Identifiable Data

  • Authors must confirm that any identifiable data (e.g., photos, videos, or case details) has been published with the consent of the involved individuals or their guardians.

  • If not applicable, this statement may be omitted.

7. Impact Statement

  • Authors should include a brief Impact Statement describing:

    • The significance and relevance of their research.

    • How the work advances knowledge or addresses a specific problem in forestry, environment, or community development.

8. Acknowledgements

  • Authors must acknowledge any individuals or organizations that contributed to the work but do not meet authorship criteria (e.g., technical support, administration, funding).

  • The contributions should be clearly described.

9. Corresponding Author Responsibilities

  • The Corresponding Author serves as the main contact for all communications related to the manuscript.

  • They must ensure their email address is active and able to receive messages from:

Note that publication of the accepted manuscript will be suspended until authorship issues are resolved. After publication in an online issue, changes to authorship will be handled through a corrigendum.
