To support the cost of publication and ensure open access availability, Jurnal Agrotropika (The Journal of Tropical Agronomy) applies an article publication fee for accepted manuscripts. However, the journal maintains a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity by providing clear information on charges and waiver policies.

1. Article Submission Fee

• Amount: 0.00 (IDR)
  Authors are not required to pay any fee during the submission and review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based solely on their scientific quality and relevance to the journal’s scope.

2. Article Publication Fee

• Amount: 600,000 (IDR) or 50 (USD)
  If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the corresponding author will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee of IDR 600,000 or USD 50.
  This fee covers editorial processes, DOI registration, layout editing, online hosting, and long-term archiving to maintain the accessibility of published articles.

3. Waiver Policy

Jurnal Agrotropika recognizes that not all authors have equal access to research funding. Therefore, the journal provides a waiver or partial waiver policy for authors who face financial limitations.

Waivers may be granted in the following cases:

• Authors from developing countries or regions with limited research funding.

• Early-career researchers, students, or independent scholars who do not have institutional support.

• Authors invited to submit special contributions (e.g., review articles or papers for special issues).

Requests for a waiver must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission by sending an email to the Editorial Office explaining the reason for the waiver request. The decision regarding waiver approval will be made by the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor, and it will not affect the review and editorial decision process.

4. Payment Method

Payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript. The author(s) are requested to confirm the payment by sending proof of transfer to the editorial office via email. Invoices and receipts will be issued upon request.
