JABE focuses on agriculture, biosystems, and agricultural techniques. Managed by the Department of Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering, University of Lampung, this journal provides a platform for innovations in agricultural machinery, renewable energy, and bioprocessing. JABE has been accredited with Sinta 5 since April 7, 2026.
Focus & Scope
Agricultural machinery, renewable energy, bioprocessing, environmental civil engineering, irrigation, robotics, automatic control, ergonomics, and nanotechnology.
Peer Review Process
Single Blind Review system. Manuscripts are first reviewed by an editor, then sent to two reviewers anonymously to evaluate scientific merit and methodological validity.
Publication Frequency
Published four times a year in March, June, September, and December.

Publication Ethics
Based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines. Editors ensure fair play, confidentiality, and objective decisions. Reviewers must provide clear arguments and disclose conflicts of interest. Authors must ensure originality and accurate reporting.
Plagiarism Check
JABE defines plagiarism as cases with at least 30% similarity without citation. We use Authenticate software to check authenticity. Evidence of plagiarism may lead to manuscript retraction and sanctions.

JABE was first published on March 31, 2022. It is an open-access journal managed by the Department of Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. Registered with DOI 10.23960/jabe and ISSN 2830-4403.

Editorial Note
Dear Authors, Reviewers, Readers, and Esteemed Partners,
The Editorial Board of the Agricultural Biosystem Engineering (ABE) Journal would like to inform our readers that the June 2026 issue has been republished due to an unexpected cybersecurity incident affecting our journal management system. The attack compromised the journal website and resulted in the loss of part of the publication data, including the files and metadata associated with the June 2026 issue.
Although extensive recovery efforts were undertaken, not all publication data could be fully restored. To preserve the integrity, accessibility, and continuity of the scholarly record, the Editorial Board has republished this issue using the recovered and verified final versions of all accepted articles.
As a consequence of this republication process, the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assigned to each article in the June 2026 issue has changed. Authors, readers, librarians, indexing services, and other stakeholders are kindly requested to use the new DOI when citing or referring to articles published in this issue.
We would like to emphasize that this republication does not affect the scientific content, peer-review process, editorial decisions, or publication status of any article. The articles remain identical to the originally accepted and published versions; only the publication metadata, including the DOI, has been updated to ensure permanent accessibility and accurate indexing.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused to our authors, reviewers, readers, indexing partners, and the wider academic community. This incident has prompted us to strengthen our cybersecurity measures, improve our data backup and recovery procedures, and implement additional safeguards to minimize the risk of similar events in the future.
