Jurnal Agrotek Tropika is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and technological innovation in tropical agricultural sciences.

The journal has disseminated agricultural research since 2013, with an emphasis on original scientific findings, sustainable agricultural production, and the application of scientific knowledge to tropical farming systems.

2. Publisher and Institutional Affiliation

Jurnal Agrotek Tropika is published by the Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Lampung, Indonesia, in cooperation with the Agrotechnology Association of Indonesia (PAGI).

The journal operates within an academic publishing environment and supports the dissemination of scientific research conducted by researchers, lecturers, and other scholars in Indonesia and internationally.

3. Journal Management

The journal is managed through an editorial structure consisting of the Editor-in-Chief, editors, members of the Editorial Board, reviewers, and editorial support personnel.

4. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on the scientific quality, originality, methodological validity, relevance, and ethical compliance of submitted manuscripts.

The Editorial Board is expected to maintain independence in manuscript evaluation and publication decisions.

Institutional affiliation, financial considerations, or personal relationships should not compromise the integrity and impartiality of editorial decisions.

5. Peer Review Management

Jurnal Agrotek Tropika implements a double-blind peer review system.

Each research manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the submitted research.

The Editor-in-Chief or designated handling editor is responsible for evaluating reviewer recommendations and determining the appropriate editorial decision.

6. Publication Management

Jurnal Agrotek Tropika publishes four issues annually in February, May, August, and November.

Manuscript submission, review, editorial correspondence, and publication are managed through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

The journal provides immediate open access to published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
