Plagiarism Policy
Whether intentional or not, plagiarism is a serious violation of publication ethics. Plagiarism includes copying ideas, text, data, and other creative works (such as tables, figures, and graphs) and presenting them as original research without proper citation.
The journal defines plagiarism as a case in which a manuscript reproduces another work with at least 20% similarity without appropriate citation.
Similarity Checking
All submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate plagiarism detection software to ensure originality before the review process.
Actions Against Plagiarism
If evidence of plagiarism is found before or after acceptance, or even after publication, the author will be given an opportunity to provide clarification or rebuttal.
If the explanation is not considered satisfactory, the manuscript will be retracted, and the author may be sanctioned from submitting manuscripts for a period determined by the responsible Editor(s).
