Focus and Scope
The Jurnal Teknik Pertanian Lampung focuses on the advancement of agricultural engineering and technology through interdisciplinary research that integrates biological, physical, and digital systems to improve agricultural productivity, sustainability, and product quality. The journal welcomes studies related to soil and water engineering, such as infiltration modeling, soil conservation, and spatial analysis for land management. Research addressing the development of environmentally friendly agricultural practices—such as the use of organic fertilizers, precision irrigation, and soil health assessment—is also within its scope.
Furthermore, this journal encompasses innovations in postharvest technology, renewable biomass utilization, and the design of smart agricultural systems. Topics include the engineering of IoT-based monitoring and control systems, sensor integration for automated farming machinery, and the optimization of drying or torrefaction processes for agricultural materials. Studies on food processing and characterization, such as the development of functional food products and the application of natural additives, are also encouraged. Through these diverse areas, the journal aims to promote sustainable agricultural engineering practices supported by digital innovation and scientific research.
