Jurnal Teknik Pertanian Lampung (JTEP-L) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. The journal invites scientists and engineers throughout the world to exchange and disseminate theoretical and practice-oriented research in the whole aspects of Agricultural Engineering (Agricultural Mechanization, Irrigation and Environmental Engineering, and Bioprocess and Postharvest Technology) and related subjects in this field.

The journal also invites scientists and engineers throughout the world to exchange and disseminate theoretical and practice-oriented research in the whole aspects of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering and Technology including but not limited to Agricultural Mechanization, Irrigation, Soil and Water Engineering, Postharvest Technology, Food Engineering Technologies, Renewable Energy, Farm Structure, Farming Control System and Automation, Rural Technologies, and related fields.
The first issue was published in October 2012 by Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung.
ISSN: 2302-559X (print edition, 10 October 2012) and 2549-0818 (online edition, 10 January 2017).
JTEP Lampung was issued periodically three times a year in April, August, and December. In 2025, Jurnal Teknik Pertanian Lampung is issued periodically six times a year in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

Since 2017, JTEP Lampung has been indexed by Google Scholar, Crossref, and SINTA (Level 3). Furthermore, on 12 November 2018, JTEP Lampung successfully indexed by Directory Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Starting Volume 10 Issue 3 (2021), the journal received accreditation SINTA 2. In 2025, the journal was also indexed in EBSCO.
