Peer Review Process
Jurnal Teknik Pertanian Lampung (JTEP-L) implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the objectivity, transparency, and scientific quality of published manuscripts.
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a structured review process involving editors and independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
Peer Review Workflow
1. Initial Editorial Screening
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the editorial team to assess its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, formatting compliance, and adherence to basic scientific and ethical standards.
2. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area.
3. Double-Blind Review Process
In this stage, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, contribution to the field, and adherence to ethical standards.
4. Revision by Authors
Reviewer comments and recommendations are communicated to the corresponding author. Authors are required to revise the manuscript and provide responses to all reviewer comments.
5. Editorial Evaluation
The revised manuscript is reassessed by the editorial team together with reviewer feedback. The manuscript may also be discussed during editorial board meetings if necessary.
6. Final Decision
The final publication decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection) is made by the Editor-in-Chief. The corresponding author is formally notified of the decision.
