Peer Review Process
Jurnal Teknik Pertanian Lampung implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the objectivity and quality of published manuscripts. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the editorial team to determine its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, as well as its compliance with basic scientific and ethical standards. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary screening are then assigned to at least two qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject matter.
In the double-blind review process, both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review stage. Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodological rigor, clarity, contribution to the field, and adherence to ethical research principles. Their constructive comments and recommendations are communicated to the corresponding author for revision and response. The revised manuscript is subsequently reassessed by the editorial team—along with reviewer feedback—before being discussed in an editorial board meeting. The final publication decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection) rests with the Editor-in-Chief, and the corresponding author is formally notified of the outcome.
