Information For Authors

JURNAL ILMIAH PETERNAKAN TERPADU (JIPT) is a double blind peer-reviewed open-access journal with an editorial board made up of experts in this field. JIPT is a scientific journal covering various aspects of animal husbandry science published since 2012. JIPT is published three times a year in March, July and November by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, Indonesia (p-ISSN : 2303-1956 and e-ISSN : 2614-0497) and has been accredited SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Research and Technology of Republic of Indonesia based on  Letter No. 200/M/KPT/2020. 

JIPT has been indexed in Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Science and Technology Index (SINTA), Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), Google Scholar, Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), PKP Index, Indonesia One Search, Neliti, Crossref, Bielefield Academic Search Engine (BASE), One Repo, WorldCat, ROAD, Directory of Research Journals Indexing (DRJI), and ResearchBib. 

JURNAL ILMIAH PETERNAKAN TERPADU (JIPT) receives research articles on animal husbandry and animal health sciences which includes, but not limited to the following topics :

  • reproduction
  • biotechnology
  • behavior
  • food science
  • food technology
  • processed products 
  • socio-economic and policies

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. JIPT uses anonymous reviewing (double blind journal peer-reviewing process), which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript. Language used in this journal is Bahasa Indonesia and or English. 

Peer review is designed to assess the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. Its ultimate purpose is to maintain the integrity of science by filtering out invalid or poor quality articles.

From a publisher’s perspective, peer review functions as a filter for content, directing better quality articles to better quality journals and so creating journal brands.

Authors are requested not to suggest reviewers with whom they have a personal or professional relationship, especially if that relationship would prevent the reviewer from having an unbiased opinion of the work of the authors. 

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection softaware to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Plagiarism Checker X software.

Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issue.
