Information For Authors

JURNAL ILMIAH PETERNAKAN TERPADU (JIPT) is a double blind peer-reviewed open-access journal with an editorial board made up of experts in this field. JIPT is a scientific journal covering various aspects of animal husbandry science published since 2012. JIPT is published three times a year in March, July and November by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, Indonesia (p-ISSN : 2303-1956 and e-ISSN : 2614-0497).

JIPT has been ACCREDITED GRADE 3 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia based on Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening Letter No. 21/E/KPT/2018. 

 JIPT has been indexed in  Science and Technology Index (SINTA), Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), Indonesian Publication Index (IPI), Google Scholar, PKP Index, Indonesia One Search, Neliti, Crossref, Bielefield Academic Search Engine (BASE), One Repo, WorldCat, ROAD, Directory of Research Journals Indexing (DRJI), and Research Bible.

 

The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. JIPT uses anonymous reviewing (double blind journal peer-reviewing process), which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Language used in this journal is English and or Indonesia.

Peer review is designed to assess the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. Its ultimate purpose is to maintain the integrity of science by filtering out invalid or poor quality articles.

From a publisher’s perspective, peer review functions as a filter for content, directing better quality articles to better quality journals and so creating journal brands.

Authors are requested not to suggest reviewers with whom they have a personal or professional relationship, especially if that relationship would prevent the reviewer from having an unbiased opinion of the work of the authors.

A working e-mail address for each reviewer is essential for rapid review in the event that reviewer is selected from those that are identified by the authors. Authors may also select reviewers who authors does not want to review manuscript, but please state your reason for doing so.
